The Detroit Connecting Railroad is an Aberdeen & Rockfish subsidiary that operates 2¼th mile of ex-GTW trackage in northern Detroit. It does not connect to any other ADBF trackage, but interchanges with the CNR at their Detroit East Yard.
It only has one locomotive; ADBF #836, an ex-Checker Motors Corporation SW900 (there is also a derelict GE 65t switcher on the property, but that is no longer on the roster and is up for sale as of 2026.)
